<p>No junk, no pop, no sodas, no sports drinks.  Only whole foods which are  80 percent raw and 20 percent heated.  Exercise and be patient.   Diabetes will resolve in 14 days to six months.</p>
<p>Only two types of sugars exist and they are the multi-billion dollar medical mystery of Diabetes.</p>
<p>1.  Simple sugars, called fast sugars, are all processed, refined or  artificial, synthetic sugars.  Simple sugars cause diabetes.  Their  molecular size is so small that they cross the blood brain barrier  quickly, hence their name, &#8220;fast&#8221; sugars.  This causes the brain to tell  the pancreas to release insulin.  Insulin in the blood stream sends  messages to the body, which tell it that it is in &#8220;extreme danger&#8221; and  to &#8220;lie down&#8221;.  Insulin zaps your energy so you&#8217;ll have to rest or take a  break.  It also tells your body to &#8220;put on layers of fat to protect  yourself&#8221; and the body responds to the message.</p>
<p>2.  Complex sugars are &#8220;slow&#8221; sugars.  They are unrefined and occur in  nature as fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, and, contrary to public opinion,  even sweet potatoes and honey.  They cross the blood-brain barrier  slowly, sending a message through the blood to the body that all is safe  and well.  This causes the pancreas to release glucagons, which  energize you, making you want to walk, run and play.  Glucagons even  cause you to burn stored fat.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s it.  That&#8217;s the big mystery.  Diabetes testing, also known as  testing your blood sugar, is nuts.  It&#8217;s nothing more than an open  invitation to turn your health, your money and your life over to a  lifetime of ritual invasion.</p>
<p>People have long recognized that what you eat can play a critical role  in both preventing and controlling Type II diabetes.  Perhaps the best  way to understand the effects of one&#8217;s diet on diabetes is to look at  two similar groups of people who differ primarily in what they eat.</p>
<p>Consider the Pima Indians.  Researchers discovered that the Pimas, who  live in Mexico and eat a lot of corn, beans and fruits, are seldom  overweight and rarely develop diabetes.  By contrast, the Pima Indians  in Arizona eat an Americanized diet that is high in sugar and fat.  They  commonly develop diabetes by the age of 50.</p>
<p>Just as a bad diet can aid in the cause of diabetes, a good one can help  control or even prevent it.  A good diet consists mainly of high-fiber,  high-complex carbohydrate foods such as taro, poi, greens and fruits.   Carbohydrates, which are found in nearly all foods except animals &#8211;  fish, pigs, cows and poultry &#8211; are the body&#8217;s main source of energy.</p>

<p>If your answer is &#8220;<em>yes</em>&#8221; to any or all of these questions, then there is one simple thing you can do.  Don&#8217;t let yourself become &#8220;<em>breathless</em>&#8221;  during your workout.  We undermine our breathing coordination, burn  sugar instead of fat for fuel and become tight and tense, which can  promote injury, when we become breathless.</p>
<p>The simplest  way to know whether you are exercising too intensely and becoming  breathless is to try to speak several sentences out loud while you&#8217;re  working out.  Your workout is no longer &#8220;<em>aerobic</em>&#8221; if you can&#8217;t do it without gasping for breath.  It is, or is about to become &#8220;<em>anaerobic</em>&#8220;, which means that it is proceeding without oxygen and you are no longer burning fat for fuel.</p>
<p>Inhaling  and exhaling only through your nose is a simple way to ensure that you  are working out at a level that will not make you breathless.  If you  try this, you will quickly discover, especially at the beginning, that  you will have to work at a less intense rate during your workout.   Gradually, your breathing coordination will improve and you will be able  to do more and progress more rapidly.</p>
<p>Eventually,  you&#8217;ll have more power and last longer than others who don&#8217;t know this  almost forgotten secret of the Ancient Olympiad.  Breathing through your  nose is a great regulator of CO2-to-oxygen ratio, and you actually run  internally better on  more CO2 than oxygen.</p>

<p>During a fast, many biochemical processes will take place in the body, resulting in many reactions outside the body, as well.  The body&#8217;s metabolism is a complicated procedure involving intestinal digestion, nutrient transport through the blood, and lymphatics for energy and tissue building, and the transport of waste products and toxins to the body&#8217;s excretory organs.  The excretory organs include the large intestine, the kidneys, the bladder, the lungs, and sweat glands.</p>
<p>These metabolic processes will take place whether you supply the body with food or not.  The body will start releasing low-grade energy stored as fat, which will  rapidly decrease body fat levels.  Since the blood always tries to keep its level of protein constant, it will keep these levels up by also breaking down inferior tissues of diseased, damaged, aged or dead cells, abnormal growth tissues, tumors, and other undesirable tissues.</p>
<p>While fasting, the body feeds itself on the most impure and inferior materials and all morbid accumulations of tumors, abscesses, fat deposits, and damaged tissue are burned as rubbish.  As all of these toxic materials are dumping into the bloodstream, the body can become so poisoned that it becomes very ill and even dies.  The blood is cleansing itself and other tissues at a cellular level and is dissipating large pockets of clustered proteins and filth and toxic waste into the bloodstream.  Care must be taken to make sure that excretory organs are doing their job, by daily enemas, deep exhaling through exercise or routine, and cleansing of the skin.</p>
<p>This cleansing also occurs in a milder form when certain house-cleaner fruits are eaten.  Many claim that they cannot eat fresh fruit for it makes them sick.  The fact is that fruit is such an effective house-cleaner that, if you eat very much, it can pull the excess sodium out of the cells and dissipate the clustered proteins and poisons into the blood, causing discomfort.  So fruit can make you feel sick while it heals you.   It is a two-edged sword.</p>

<h2><strong>Helping Others Through Depression:</strong></h2>

<p>What&#8217;s the best thing to do if someone close to you gets depressed?</p>
<p>&#8220;<em><strong>Listen</strong></em>&#8221; more than anything; your friend needs an ear.  If someone you care about seems depressed and hasn&#8217;t said anything about it, go ahead and ask, &#8220;<em>Do you feel depressed?</em>&#8220;.  Follow this up with open-ended questions like, &#8220;<em>When did you first start feeling this way?</em>&#8220;.  This is a good question, because determining when a depression began often helps uncover the incident or incidents that might have sparked it.</p>
<p>As your friend opens up and starts talking about his depression, do your best to create a safe environment.  <strong>Don&#8217;t trivialize</strong> the situation by saying things like &#8220;<em>Oh, cut it out, you have no reason to be depressed.</em>&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t offer easy solutions</strong> like &#8220;<em>You know, all you need is&#8230;</em>&#8220;  Instead, let the person find his own solutions, using you as a sounding board for ideas.</p>
<p><strong>Do try </strong>to get the depressed person involved in physical activities like exercise.</p>
<p><strong>Do try </strong>to keep the person interested in finding solutions because remember: depression could be defined as a loss of interest in all things.</p>

<p><em><strong>Find something really boring to do.</strong></em> What you may need to snap you out of the blues is simply something to distract you; to shift your attention away from your woes.  To do this, pick something dreadfully boring to do and do it.  Like what?  Well, you could clean your bathroom tiles with a toothbrush, or study the same leaf again and again and again.</p>
<p><em><strong>Slow down.</strong></em> Life in the twentieth century can be might hectic at times.  If you suspect your depression is from over-scheduling, you may simply need to relax.  Give yourself more time for things like warm baths or massages.</p>
<p><em><strong>Avoid making major decisions.</strong></em> You can&#8217;t really trust your judgment when you&#8217;re depressed.  Major life decision should be put off till you&#8217;re feeling better because if you should make the wrong decisions, it can only drag you down further.</p>
<p><em><strong>Treat others with respect.</strong></em> Being depressed, you may be inclined to be snippy with other people.  Don&#8217;t do it, for others may be snippy right back, which is the last thing you need when you&#8217;re down.</p>
<p><em><strong>Stay out of department stores.</strong></em> Just as snapping at other people can have a boomerang effect on your depression, so can shopping binges.  That is, while they can be loads of fun, they can come back to haunt you when the bills come in.</p>
<p><em><strong>Close the refrigerator.</strong></em> Eating binges of junk food also have a boomerang effect.  While a junk binge might make you feel good at the moment, it can add depressing inches to your waistline.  Get out of the house, if you have to, to overcome the urge to eat.</p>
<p><em><strong>Vigorous exercise</strong></em> can be an effective antidote to bouts of depression.  During exercise, the brain produces pain-killing chemicals called endorphins and enkephalins.  When certain endorphins and other brain chemicals are released in response to exercise, people say they feel really good.  This may explain why exercise and sunshine are the best ways to rid yourself of depression.</p>
<p><a href="http://dontolmanusa.com/ancient-wisdom/white-stone-carillon/" target="_blank"><em><strong>Music </strong></em></a>can also have a powerful effect on mood and useful for alleviating depression.</p>
