<p>The &#8220;7&#8243; <a title="What are the Seven Principles of Health?" href="http://dontolmanusa.com/self-care/seven-principles-of-health/" target="_blank">principles of health</a> are the &#8220;<em>science of life</em>&#8220;.  The science of life is more powerful than all of the weapons of war, more powerful than the tyranny in all of its forms of life-negation.  For this cause, the <a title="Get your copy today!" href="http://www.dontolmanstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=1&amp;products_id=1" target="_blank">FDR </a>never talks of fighting disease, nor waging war on bacteria, the FDR is not anti and has  no mention of antioxidants, antibiotics <em>(against life)</em>, no anti-acids, no antivirals, antibacterial, antiseptics, antifungal, antispasmotics, antihistamines, antigens, antidiuretics, anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, antibodies, <em>(ad nauseum)</em>.  The FDR&#8217;s call is to bring an end to the terrorism of war, all wars, especially on disease.  Isn&#8217;t it abundantly clear to any truly thinking individual we have miserably lost that war?  That we only made the so-called enemy stronger?  Let&#8217;s drop the weapons of war and marketing &#8220;mystery&#8221; of the war.  Instead of calling the powerful nutrient activity of whole food pigments-antioxidants, why can&#8217;t we simply say:</p>

<p>The FDR is meant to simplify; for this cause, we use common words when applicable.  We have used medical Latin to reference disease symptoms, just because most people would look, for instance, at <strong>aneurysm</strong> because of their doctor instead of &#8220;<em>ballooned tube</em>&#8220;.  Although ballooned tube is what aneurysm means.</p>
<p><strong>Man is helpless when he lacks knowledge; helplessness due to ignorance is the fertilizer of cartels, of dictator-ships, of turning one&#8217;s body over to the &#8220;<em>Experts</em>&#8220;.</strong></p>
<p>Self-care is not easy for some.  It&#8217;s easier to sell one&#8217;s independence for security than it is to lead a responsible independent existence and to be master of oneself.  To learn, to intuit, to trust in the cosmic nature of intelligence that resides in all 76 trillion cells of one&#8217;s body.  It is tough in the face of multimillion-dollar ad campaigns, as well as bought-and-paid-for curriculums of formal education.  The slanted, directed, edited and paid-for mass media editorials of TV, newspapers and magazines.</p>

<p><strong>HISTORY:  The 26 Letters</strong></p>
<p>Twenty-six.  Not a very big number until one considers the diversity of thoughts, which can be created through the simple arrangement of the letters of the alphabet.  From this unassuming collection of characters, we are able to create an infinite number  of words, of sentences, some well-written headlines, John Stewart&#8217;s monologue and several shoe and brassiere sizes.  A frightening thought when you consider that nobody bothers to regulate or license such activity.</p>
<p><strong>MYSTERY:  The Celtic Name Letter Key</strong></p>
<p>Names, letters and their meanings, in order to gain a revelation of &#8220;character and personality&#8221; from one&#8217;s name&#8230;</p>
<p>Also use this to intuitively unlock the hidden messages of symptoms of disease&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>LETTERS &amp; MEANINGS</strong></p>
<p>The method of understanding the &#8220;hidden messages&#8221; in one&#8217;s name should be used only as lighthearted entertainment, but do not be surprised at the secrets the letters reveal.  There may be things that you do not want to accept, for there are always aspects of our character that we wish to conceal, even from ourselves.  The ancient &#8220;<em>Name Wizards</em>&#8220;, though, would whisper softly to you &#8220;listen well to what it tells you.&#8221;</p>
<p>In this system of the ancient Celtic Seers, each letter of the alphabet has a meaning, and the total reading of a name is, logically, the sum total of its individual letters.</p>
<p>To begin with, arrange the letters of the name in alphabetical order; at this stage count each of the letters to make sure none have been left out.  Thus &#8220;Jared Artemus Tolman&#8221; would be set out as:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">AAADEEJLMMNORRSTTU</p>
<p>The letters that occur most often are the more important ones.  &#8220;A&#8221; is clearly the most important one in the example I&#8217;m using, while &#8220;E&#8221;, &#8220;M&#8221;, &#8220;R&#8221; and &#8220;T&#8221; carry more weight in the overall interpretation of the name than the single letters.  For a person bearing this name, &#8220;A&#8221; should be treated like a lucky number.  Other names and words that begin with, or are dominated by that letter, should be given special consideration.</p>
<p>Of all the various name interpretation methods that use systems, this is certainly my favorite for a short, quick look into names.  I find no contradiction in the fact that reading a name by this method produces letter explanations that appear to oppose one another.  People have complex personalities, and while they might act one way today, they are likely to behave quite differently tomorrow.  I think you will find it worthwhile to use this system on your own name and the names of loved ones and friends.  Name means &#8220;nature of&#8221;.   We no doubt develop our dispositions and personalities around our names.</p>

<p>Up to 93% of communication is nonverbal.  This form of communication includes eye movement, facial expressions, hand gestures, posture, tone of voice and  more.  The presence of body language can be especially felt in emotional situations, as the messages behind body language usually prevail over the worded message.</p>
<p><strong>Examples of Body Talk:</strong></p>

<p>Whether you call it bad breath or halitosis, it&#8217;s an unpleasant condition that&#8217;s cause for embarrassment.  Some people with bad breath aren&#8217;t even aware there&#8217;s a problem.</p>
<p>What you eat affects the air you exhale.  Certain food odors such as garlic and onions don&#8217;t bother me in the least, but can contribute to what some folks find as objectionable breath odor.  Personally, I find &#8220;meat in the belly&#8221; breath a lot more offensive.  The food is transferred to the lungs where it is expelled once the food is absorbed into the bloodstream.  Brushing, flossing and mouthwash will only mask the odor temporarily.  Odors continue until the body eliminates the food.  Dieters may develop unpleasant breath from infrequent eating.  Another cause  of bad breath is when you don&#8217;t brush and floss daily because particles of food remain in the mouth, collecting bacteria.  Food that collects between the teeth, on the tongue and around the gums can rot, leaving an unpleasant odor.</p>
<p>Bad breath can also be caused by xerostomia, which is dry mouth.  This occurs when the flow of saliva decreases.  Saliva is necessary to cleanse the mouth and remove particles that may cause odor.  The causes of dry mouth include various medications, salivary gland problems or continuously breathing through the mouth.  If you suffer from dry mouth, the most obvious solution is to increase your fluid intake especially of <a href="http://dontolmanusa.com/self-care/understanding-water/" target="_blank">water</a>.</p>
<p><strong><em>Tobacco products cause bad breath. </em></strong> Bad breath may be the sign of a local infection in the respiratory tract, chronic sinusitis, post-nasal drip, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, gastrointestinal disturbance, liver or kidney ailment.</p>
<p><strong><em>Maintaining good oral health is essential to reducing bad</em><em> breath.</em></strong> If you think you have constant bad breath, keep a log of the foods you eat and make a list of medications you take because some medications may play a role in creating bad breath.</p>
<p><em><strong> </strong></em></p>

<p><em><strong>Brush twice a day.</strong></em> Brush your teeth twice a day to remove food debris and plaque and make sure to brush your tongue, too.  Once a day, use floss or an inter-dental cleaner to clean between teeth.  Mouth washes are generally cosmetic and do not have a long-lasting effect on bad breath.  If you must constantly use a breath freshener to hide unpleasant mouth odor, try the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Chew cloves (then spit them out)</li>
<li>Chew dill seeds (then spit them out)</li>

<p><strong>Beneficial Effects of Alcohol</strong></p>
<p>It has been reported in several studies that regular consumption of moderate amounts of alcohol lowers the incidence of coronary heart disease and raises the level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol (&#8220;good cholesterol&#8221;).</p>
<p>Beer is health food in a mug.  Non-drinkers often abstain in order to improve their health, but they are 70 percent more likely to die prematurely than those people who drink four beers a day.  Beer inhibits free-radical scavengers and removes poisonous heavy metal like lead, copper and mercury.</p>
<p><strong><em>The following are considered health drinks as long as the use is not abused.  In this case, &#8220;abused&#8221; means that you don&#8217;t drink enough water:</em></strong></p>

<p>Cider often means unfermented apple juice or sweet cider, while fermented cider is called hard cider in the United States.  In the United Kingdom, the term cider is always meant to be alcoholic and in Australia it can be either.</p>
<p>Although beer is generally made from barley, it can sometimes contain a mix of other grains.  Whisky is sometimes made from a blend of different grains.  This is especially true in the case of Irish whiskey, which may contain several different grains.  The style of whisky (Scotch, rye,  bourbon) generally determines the primary grain used.  Additional grains of barley and sometimes oats are usually added to the blend.  Vodka and gin are two common distilled beverages.  Vodka can be distilled from any source with grain and potatoes being the most common.  An interesting fact is that industrial cellulose is also used for the cheapest!  The main characteristic of vodka is that it is so thoroughly distilled that it exhibits none of the flavors derived from its source material.  Gin is a similar distillate which has been flavored by contact with herbs and other plant products, especially juniper berries.  This is where gin gets its name.</p>
<p>In my experience, &#8220;distilled alcohol&#8221;, &#8220;hard liquors&#8221;, &#8220;spirits&#8221;, have a place in  mouth washes, cleaning wounds and bathing skin.  They can be used for a shot for someone with the &#8220;chills&#8221; and for use in deodorants, and other personal care items.  These beverages should not be used for internal consumption.  I would also avoid overly sweet drinks or &#8220;preppy drinks&#8221;, like Zima, wine coolers, &#8220;hard lemonade&#8221;, etc.  These are not ferments.  Instead only hard or distilled alcohol is typically added.</p>

<p>Admit it.  If, right now, you could bite down on a crispy, crunchy potato chip that was &#8220;natural&#8221; and, therefore, good for you, you&#8217;d do it, right?</p>
<p>Thought so.  Makers of potato chips and corn chips, pancake mixes, frozen waffles, frosted breakfast cereals, ice cream and other taste-tempters think so, too.  That&#8217;s why the word &#8220;natural&#8221; appears so frequently on food packages these days.  Marketing experts know that, for many consumers, natural equals healthful, and that sells.</p>
<p>In fact, the word &#8220;natural&#8221; on a food package means next to nothing because &#8220;natural&#8221; has no meaning in law or regulation.  For these reasons, the use of &#8220;natural&#8221; on food products all too often distracts attention from more important considerations.</p>
<p>&#8220;Natural&#8221; and even &#8220;organic&#8221; may even be misleading, if it implies that a product is free of chemical additives (often not the case) or that competitor&#8217;s products are &#8220;unnatural&#8221; and, therefore, bad for you.</p>
<p>Almost all foods today are processed in some way, and unless you are able to buy exclusively from a farmer&#8217;s market or grow your own fruits and vegetables, much of what you at have seen the inside of a lab, factory or high-tech warehouse.  Food science has become so sophisticated that it can be difficult to know where natural and organic ends and unnatural and organic begins.</p>
<p>There are breakfast cereals made from organically grown wheat with raisins made from organically grown grapes.  However, the cereal itself can have lots of preservatives.  It may contain lots of added aluminized salt and processed sugar, which are  &#8220;natural&#8221;, but in the quantities that you find in breakfast cereals, they&#8217;re not healthful and can be very harmful.  Even natural and organic foods require some degree of processing.  &#8220;Is it organic?  Yes.  Is it natural?  Well, no.&#8221;  Not if natural in this case means the way nature made it.</p>
<p>Finally, there are indisputably nature foods.  Most of the items in the fresh fruit and vegetable aisles aren&#8217;t always the most nutritious choice.  A good question to ask is:  how long ago were they picked?  You never know for sure how long fruits and vegetables have been on the shelf or even on the truck or in a warehouse.  Fruits and vegetables lose nutritional value over time.  If they are fresh when you bring them home, be sure to eat them within three or four days of purchase or they will have lost so much  of their nutritional value, you&#8217;d be better off buying frozen.</p>
<p>The most useful question may be not whether a food is natural (however that&#8217;s defined) or even organic, but whether it contains the nutrients you seek, or whether it doesn&#8217;t contain the additives you want to avoid.</p>
<p>Shopping intelligently also means developing a healthy skepticism about your own capacity for self-deception.  Fresh, local grown seems to be the best choice.</p>
